The client was an established ERP solution provider, providing customized single platform ERP solutions to their retail industry 180+ clients.
 

THE STORY

The client was running an ERP application on azure as well as the Database was on Azure PaaS.
The clients’ clientele was growing rapidly. With the growing number of their retail client users, the client often times faced the issue of the application getting slow. MYSQL database performance and Azure virtual machine scaling problems turned out to be a threat in the long run

THE Inclotech EFFECT

Team inclotech studied the overall azure infrastructure and application uses to provide ideal solution. The AWS architecture with solution designed under best practices for the Proof of concept with following Services and solution.
 
• Route53 is used for the DNS configuration.
• VPC has been created to secure private networks and avoids attacks from the public networks.
• Load balancer and right 2 EC2 instances’s deployed on the base of application performance and bottom and peak traffic load.
• Mysql RDS configured with the right version and size.
• Autoscaling has been configured to scale EC2 instances based on CPU load.
• EC2 instance and RDS monitoring is done by using AWS CloudWatch.
• P2P VPN has been implemented for AWS to Azure connectivity.
• Auto Daily backup was configured for Ec2 Instance and RDS.
• AWS VPN Deployed to connect AWS Infra.
 
After created the application and database replica and given proof concepts to the customer, the client received the Application and database performance that the client initially required.
As the application database already replicated on AWS customer was required 30 minutes of downtime to Sync all the data to AWS and stopped and terminated all Azure services and make the application live on AWS. Migrating the entire application on AWS, the customer was able to save almost 29% when equated Azure monthly spend. The client appreciated team Inclotech strategic execution of solutions that helped their company reduce costs and save time.
